The Ambassador also appreciated PIN's involvement in the social protection and inclusion sector in Nepal through the Our Turn Programme, which is focusing on gender issues.

During his visit of the People In Need's office (PIN) on 5th April 2019 in Kathmandu, Ambassador Milan Hovorka expressed his gratitude for humanitarian aid provided by the Czech Republic-based non-governmenal and not-for-profit organization after the destructive earthquake in 2015 and for all it has done to help the Government of Nepal to relocate the population displaced by the earthquake and to support vulnerable population to reconstruct resistant houses.
