Partial Resumption of Visa Services at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi

Visa services were resumed at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi on September 1, 2020 in a phased manner.
 

All short-term Schengen (Czech) visa applications are accepted in a limited extent in accordance with the protective measures imposed by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic and as per the available capacity of the Consular Section of the Embassy. The latest measures are valid from 17 November 2020.

Due to the critical epidemiological situation, the Czech Republic has instituted a crisis measure banning free movement of persons on the territory of the Czech Republic, effective October 22. This restriction is effective until November 20, 2020 https://www.mzv.cz/jnp/en/information_for_aliens/news/crisis_measure_only_essential_travel.html

Only essential short-term travel to the Czech Republic is allowed.

Travel for the purpose of tourism or visit of friends is not allowed.
